About Our Educator

Jace Porter has been flipping rocks and climbing trees to find insects since he was old enough to walk.  He’s worked as a research technician and collaborator on many entomological research projects with UNH, UConn, Cornell, UMass, Harvard, and more. 

He’s been a professional natural history educator for over 10 years, with experience as a marine wildlife guide in Key West, an educator for The Caterpillar Lab in New Hampshire, and a New England wildlife conservation steward.

Jace has a degree in forestry & wildlife conservation and a lifetime of passion for insects.
